This 20-week course explores the fundamentals of computer science and problem solving. Students explore topics ranging from their first "Hello World" all the way to applications of functions. Each topic is introduced with a brief lesson-style explanation followed by a coding application of what was taught. The course invites students to participate in conversation with the instructor and fellow classmates, which is known to encourage understanding. It is recommended for students to bring their own laptop to store their projects for future use.

This 24-week course explores Python game development. Each week, students are introduced to new topics with a brief lesson-style explanation and then apply these concepts to two games. The first game is a multiplayer 2D game where players avoid enemies and collect coins to win. The second is a one-player matching game where players match face-down cards to win. These projects are perfect for future college, university, and job applications. The course invites students to participate in conversation with the instructor and fellow classmates and to personalize their projects.
No prior experience needed for Level 1. Level 2 requires completion of Level 1, and Level 3 requires Level 2.
A laptop is recommended so students can store and revisit their projects outside of class.
Yes, this class runs fully online on Tuesdays at 7:00pm.
